Ingredients
  

For the Bruschetta

  • 1 French baguette 1 French baguette (or sourdough if you’re feeling fancy) Can substitute with sourdough.
  • 8 ounces 8 ounces of Burrata cheese Heaven in creamy form.
  • 2 cups 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved Fresh ripe tomatoes are best.
  • 1 clove 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped Optional, but highly recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon olive oil Plus extra for drizzling.
  • to taste Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Balsamic glaze For drizzling.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices and lay them out on a baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil.

Toasting

  • Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.

Topping Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss gently.

Assembly

  • Once the bread is toasted, top each slice with the tomato mixture, then add a scoop of Burrata on top.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, quality ingredients for the best flavor. Consider adding roasted red peppers or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for some extra kick. If Burrata isn't available, fresh mozzarella can be used as a substitute.
