  • 1 pound beef (ground or sliced)
  • 1 package cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the ground or sliced beef and cook until browned, about 7-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Adding Garlic

  • Add minced garlic to the browned beef and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cooking Tortellini

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes.

Making the Creamy Sauce

  • Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir gently to combine with the beef and garlic. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Combining Everything

  • Drain tortellini and add to the creamy beef mixture. Toss gently until well coated.

Serving

  • Plate the Beef Parmesan Tortellini, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

For added brightness, add a splash of lemon juice before serving. This dish can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and can also be frozen for 1-2 months.
