Ingredients

For the crust

  • 1 package 15.5 oz Oreo cookies Approximately 24 cookies for the crust.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the filling

  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip) Divided into two cups.
  • 1 package 3.9 oz chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk

For decoration

  • optional Gummy worms For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Crush about 24 Oreo cookies in a blender or food processor. Combine the crushed cookies with melted butter until well blended. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form your crust.
  • In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping to create a fluffy layer.
  • In another bowl, whisk the chocolate pudding mix with 2 cups of milk until it thickens (about 2 minutes). Pour this over the cream cheese layer.
  • Carefully spread the remaining whipped topping over the chocolate pudding layer.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to let it set. Just before serving, crumble some additional Oreos on top and add gummy worms for decoration.

Notes

For a fun twist, you can try vanilla pudding instead of chocolate. Store leftovers tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
