Ingredients

Egg Mixture

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite blend)

Add-ins

  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until fluffy and well combined. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in the cheese, cooked bacon or sausage, diced bell peppers, and chopped spinach.
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil. Pour in your egg mixture, spreading it evenly.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are golden brown.
  • For a perfect golden top, pop it under the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye on it.

Serving

  • Once it's done, remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

You can prepare the mixture the night before and store it in the fridge. Feel free to swap ingredients based on availability, such as using kale instead of spinach.
