Hawaiian Roll Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls (kept intact as a slab)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice the entire slab in half horizontally using a serrated knife. Place the bottom half on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter: In a medium bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
  4. Spread the Butter: Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut side of both the top and bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Add Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the bottom half, then add Parmesan cheese on top. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  6. Bake: Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Slice & Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice along the roll seams and serve warm.
