Uyo Township Stadium commissioned – SEE PHOTOS!

The Uyo Township Stadium in Akwa Ibom State was on Wednesday May 24, 2023 commissioned by Governor Udom Emmanuel.

The facility has an Olympic-sized swimming pool, Astro turf and indoor gyms, now open for years after being closed for redevelopment.

This brings to three standard sports facilities in Akwa Ibom State. Godswill Akpabio International Stadium and Eket Stadium are the other two facilities which were commissioned in 2013 and 2022 respectively.
