Sports business news site Sportico is hiring Molly Gerry to be a staff editor.
He will start on May 30.
“We are extremely excited to add someone as talented and dedicated as Molly,” said Sportico’s editor-in-chief. Scott Soshnik in the letter.
Geary has been at Sports Illustrated for nearly nine years, most recently as beat editor for the college football and college basketball sections on its website.
He also served as a staff writer for the Testudo Times, a Maryland sports blog.
Geary is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
