We are releasing a podcast on how to have a better relationship with your pet.

Whether you’re a pet sitter or a pet professional, we think you’ll love it. You can look forward to the podcast having the same values ​​you associate with it Companion Animal Psychologyfocusing on reward-based training methods and the importance of management and enrichment to help our pets live happier lives. Besides, of course it will be fun.

Some episodes will feature the two of us sharing tips on dog and cat behavior and training, while others will feature special guests including authors, dog trainers, cat behaviorists and scientists.

At the end of each episode, we’ll talk about the books we’ve read.

Christy Benson An honors graduate of the prestigious Dog Trainer Academy where she obtained her Certificate in Training and Counseling (CTC). She also received her PCBC-A credential from the Animal Professional Accreditation Board. She recently relocated to beautiful northern British Columbia where she will continue to help dog guardians through online training and consulting. Christy is on staff at the Dog Training Academy, helping to shape the next generation of dog professionals. Christie’s dogs are rescue sled dogs, mostly retired, and take good naps in front of the wood stove.
