In August 2022, Sennheiser announced its Clear True Wireless TV headphones. This provided a headset option that was specifically tailored for viewers.

The original Sennheiser TV Clear provided a personalized audio listening experience with independent volume and five levels of speech clarity; while allowing others to watch the same program using the TV’s internal speakers or soundbar at the same time.

Better fitBetter sound also comes with a better fit, thanks to revised acoustic openings and ear adapters that make it easier to find the perfect fit, especially on smaller ears.

Transmitter pre-pairingThe TV’s Clear Set 2 is pre-paired with the included transmitter. This means you can start using Clear Set 2 on your TV (or other compatible audio source) right away.

bandwidthTransmission bandwidth has been doubled.

Updated transmitterThe transmitter provides Dolby 5.1 compatibility when connected via the TV’s S/PDIF digital audio outputs. Additionally, the transmitter includes a USB-C power port.

Improved control buttonsThe buttons on the headphones have been redesigned to make it easier to adjust the volume and set the Speech Clarity level.

Updated TV Clear Companion appThe TV Clear app is a free download and can be installed from the App Store (iOS and iPad OS) or the Google Play Store (Android). With the app, users can further customize their TV’s Clear Set 2, including visualized volume controls, double-tap gesture configuration, improved charging status feedback, and more.
