It will not be an easy game. Brazil’s coach is wary of flying eagles

Ramon Menezes, the head coach of the Brazilian national team, has a difficult game ahead of him against the “Flying Eagles” of Nigeria.

The South Americans take on the Flying Eagles in their final group game at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in La Plata on Saturday (today).

The Young Selecao need a win to secure a place in the last 16 and possibly top the group.

Having watched the Flying Eagles beat the Dominican Republic and Italy in their first two games, Menezes insisted the West Africans will be a tough nut to crack for his team.

“African teams are traditional powers at this level and Nigeria is one of them,” the tactician told a pre-match press conference.

“So we have to approach the game cautiously, seeing how they have been playing so far. It won’t be an easy game for us to win.”

The game will start at 19:00 Nigerian time.
