GrandNode 4.00 was released | GRANDNODE:

Dear community,

A new version of our open source, free, cross-platform solution is coming. We are happy to announce that we have officially released the stable version of GrandNode 4.00 on our website and on GitHub.

In the last version, our main goal was to port GrandNode to ASP.NET Core 2.0. What is the key? It is full ASP.NET Core 2.0 that allows you to run GrandNode on Linux, Mac and Windows. It is fully cross-platform.

You can download it from our GitHub page.

ASP.NET Core 2.0 – GrandNode on Linux, MacBook and Windows

When Microsoft released ASP.NET Core 2.0, we decided to implement it in our newest version of GrandNode. ASP.NET is an open source framework available on GitHub.

What is the main plus? It’s cross-platform. You can run GrandNode on Windows, Linux and Mac without problems. We have already tested it and it works.

More information about ASP.NET Core 2.0 is available here:

Changes to the Discount engine

From GrandNode 4.00 you can calculate discounts with the mentioned plugin. What does that mean to you? Each developer can create any type of discount rule.

Discounts can be turned on or off by checking the box.

We’ve also decided to change the way coupon codes are added. Now you can generate multiple coupon codes for one discount. It is also possible to purchase a plugin that will automatically generate multiple coupon codes.

individual prices per customer

It allows you to set individual prices for each product for each customer. For example, we have XYZ product.

Customer 1 price is $20
Customer 2 has a price of $21
Customer 3 has $40

It is an independent setting that can be specified in the admin panel – Client -> Individual pricing.

Seller System Changes

From this option, customers are allowed to write reviews for sellers. You can specify its description, image.

Amazon S3:

At GrandNode, we decided to implement an Amazon S3 CDN. Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). It’s easy to move large volumes of image data into or out of Amazon S3 with Amazon’s cloud data migration options. Amazon S3 has a simple web services interface that you can use to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web. It gives any developer access to the same highly scalable, reliable, fast, low-cost data storage infrastructure that Amazon uses to run its own global network of websites. The goal of the service is to maximize the benefits of scale and pass those benefits on to developers.

Marketing Automation – Customer Tag -> Products

We’ve also made some improvements to our marketing automation engine. From the newest version, you are allowed to add products assigned to the specified customer tag. So, once your customer has an Influencer Customer Tag, you can add products that will appear on their homepage.
