Bloomberg Opinion noted Victoria Benning its editor-in-chief, which oversees US political commentary.
He joined the company last year as editor-in-chief of the Bloomberg News national team.
He was most recently deputy American editor of The Washington Post.
Benning has been with the post for more than 26 years. There, she held various positions, including education reporter, assistant metro editor and transportation and development editor. He also served as content editor, handling stories from several desks, including Metro, National, Foreign and Financial.
He also launched the Post’s Alexandria Arlington Extra, a 28-page weekly local news section covering the Northern Virginia suburbs of Alexandria and Arlington.
Additionally, he has reported for The Detroit Free Press, The Boston Globe and The Des Moines Register.
