As we continue to look for ways to foster cross-functional collaboration and drive growth, I’m excited to share that Dave Pettit joined the operations leadership team as managing editor, strategy and operations, reporting to me.
We are pleased to expand Dave’s scope of responsibility to include working with Dow Jones executives including Barron’s Group, The Wall Street Journal, Risk & Compliance and OPIS to increase our capabilities, impact and reach. his main focus will be to collaborate with these leaders to develop meaningful initiatives; strengthen cooperation and communication with editorial offices; and are looking for innovative ways to serve our audiences and clients with the best news, data, analysis and events from the Dow Jones ecosystem.
It is particularly important that we strengthen Dow Jones’ strength in Risk & Compliance, Dow Jones’ fastest growing unit, and our Energy & Sustainability vertical, where Dow Jones has made significant investments. These are the areas where Dave will prioritize his work. He will also continue to oversee weekly content for Barron’s Roundtable, a successful partnership with Fox Business.
Dave has extensive knowledge of the people and products of the Dow Jones brands, having served in various leadership roles at Barron’s Group and The Wall Street Journal over the past 35 years. Earlier in his career, he was also an editor and reporter for Dow Jones Newswires.
I look forward to Dave applying his tremendous talent and experience to the broader Dow Jones ecosystem as we seek new and creative ways to deliver customer solutions, expand our market reach and drive revenue.
